Pricing is based on the size of the home with extra costs associated with homes with complex shapes or unusual structural or mechanical systems. Most homes of 2500 square feet or less will be $485.00. 2500 to 3500 square feet will be $565.00. For homes over 3500 square feet please call for a quote.
In special cases, if you have a home that is old, uses a lot of energy and has so many things wrong that you don't know where to start I offer a "you take the notes" special. The on site portion of the audit is the same as the traditional audit, including the blower door test. The home owner(s) accompany me throughout and take notes (and pictures) as we discuss potential improvements. There is no computer modeling and follow up services are extra. In most cases the cost for this will be $250.00
At this time commercial is by quote only. As a VERY rough guide expect that a basic audit including shell and operations will start at $750.00 for a small commercial enterprise and go up. There are a lot more items to include and account for in a commercial setting. Because of the diversity of business operations I prefer to discuss the scope of the audit beforehand so that we all have the same expectations.
